Austin Shorts… in LA
Didn’t make it to South by Southwest? Not to fear. Shorts are here. “Made in Austin” is a mish mash of rare shorts, features, a bbq and a q+ a with director Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, Slacker, A Scanner Darkly) at the Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax. If you are a Cinephile, then the Cinefamily is your brood. They screen beautifully curated collections of works by such cinematic icons as John Cassavetes, Werner Herzog, Max Fleischer, and Robert Rodriguez. Oh, and they also screen Silent Films.
